If you plan to do some heavy bulk content research and writing inside SEO Workspace, you need a generous AI model.
The SCM AI was added back when it was used mainly for generating articles.
However, although it works, it blows through SCM credits very quickly.
There isn’t much optimization you can do with that, it the tax you pay for an Agent workflow.
The real solution is to use Claude Code or Codex.
Those services start from $20, no credit caps but you use a 5h rotating limit cap.
For just SEO work and writing and research articles, it should be more than enough.
