You can create an OpenAI API key and use it in SCM to write articles with GPT.
A 1,500 word article costs about half a cent on Luna and 3 cents on Terra.
Why use this?
- Cheap. Half a cent per article on Luna, about 3 cents on Terra
- Prepaid. Load $5 and it cannot overrun
- Url field is editable, so the spare slots take any OpenAI compatible service, eg a local model
- Model list refreshes from your account, so new releases show up without an SCM update
Requires a paid OpenAI Platform account. ChatGPT Plus doesn’t include API credits.
Not the same as the Codex tab, which uses your ChatGPT subscription. This one takes an API key and bills per token.

Start on Terra. Drop to Luna for titles, meta descriptions and short rewrites.Presence penalty, temperature and max tokens are ignored by reasoning models. Leave them alone unless you are on an older GPT.

Different login to chatgpt.com, so sign up here even if you already have ChatGPT.
Add credit under Billing. $5 minimum.
Create the key under API Keys. It is shown once, copy it straight away.
