Dev update log:
Lots of testing behind the scenes getting AI outlines to generate and parse correctly.
It shows some promise.
Everything here is still up for change.
To keep UI changes minimal, most likely there will be an tag to turn on AI outlines.
Everything between the tags will be used as the prompts to create each subsection of content from an AI outline.
The way AI outlines work is:
- SCM sends a prompt to generate an outline using h2 and h3 tags using your keyword.
- The resulting AI generated outline is then parsed line by line to create a long article prompt with the correct
<h2> and <h3>
structure.
- This new outline prompt is sent to the AI model to be filled out.
To give an example of the steps.
Keyword is “Where to Find the Best Street Food in Tokyo”
Prompt sent to create initial AI outline
Disregard previous instructions.
Create an article outline without an introduction about Where to Find the Best Street Food in Tokyo in language English.
Each section starts with a <h2> tag and each subsection starts with a <h3> tag.
Each line must start with a h2 or h3 tag.
Dont start with introduction.
Resulting AI prompt returned
<h2>Best Street Food in Tokyo</h2>
<h3>Tsukiji Outer Market</h3>
[write a short answer about Tsukiji Outer Market Where to Find the Best Street Food in Tokyo wrap your response in <p> tags {and use <em> and <strong> tags on keywords|||}.
{Use bullet points or numbered list||||}]
<h3>Takeshita Street in Harajuku</h3>
[write a short answer about Takeshita Street in Harajuku Where to Find the Best Street Food in Tokyo wrap your response in <p> tags {and use <em> and <strong> tags on keywords|||}.
{Use bullet points or numbered list||||}]
<h3>Ameya-Yokocho Market in Ueno</h3>
[write a short answer about Ameya-Yokocho Market in Ueno Where to Find the Best Street Food in Tokyo wrap your response in <p> tags {and use <em> and <strong> tags on keywords|||}.
{Use bullet points or numbered list||||}]
<h3>Shibuya Food Alley</h3>

<h3>Yanaka Ginza in Yanaka</h3>
[write a short answer about Yanaka Ginza in Yanaka Where to Find the Best Street Food in Tokyo wrap your response in <p> tags {and use <em> and <strong> tags on keywords|||}.
{Use bullet points or numbered list||||}]
This prompt is in SCM AI writer compatible code.
Notice the use of [ ]
to mark prompts and the inclusion of {|}
spintax to randomize the prompts.
The final output is 391 words long.
But can be made much longer as the current prompt per section is “write a short answer”
<outline>
[write a short answer about %outline_heading% %keyword% wrap your response in <p> tags {and use <em> and <strong> tags on keywords|||}.
{Use bullet points or numbered list||||}]
</outline>
Notice the use of %outline_heading%
in the prompt.
This is used to refer to each <h3>
section given by the initial AI outline.
Currently more testing is being undertaken to optimize the prompts.
The biggest issue is that the AI doesn’t always neatly return a properly formatted article outline!
Using the method also means we can add AI generated images that are relevant to the outline heading too!
