Trying Again with SEO Content Machine

As detailed in a reply to another post, I have tried and failed to understand how to use SEO Content Machine several times in the last few months. I cannot for the life of me understand the prompting…specifically, the macros. I have watched every video, many multiple times trying to find the concepts that I am overlooking, but they are just not contained in the tutorials. When you show how to do something, I cannot apply what you are showing to tasks that differ even slightly.

You seem to have a very high IQ (I say this positively) and I think you assume that we understand certain concepts about the software that we don’t.

Anyway, I would like to try to accomplish something very specific. During my dozen or so attempts to use SEO Content Machine, i was successful once. For some reason, I deleted that success and could not reproduce it when I returned to SEO Content Machine. I would like help reproducing that success.

What I would like to do is to compile a list of “hit song themes and subthemes”. I would like to scrape the maximum number of sites and have SEO Content Machine return a list of song themes that are found in those pages, with subthemes listed underneath the main themes. As I said, I accomplished this once before and I was more than pleased with the results. But subsequent attempts at doing this have failed. I will use the example to ask questions about the prompting.

Is my request clear? Thank you for all your time. You spend a generous amount of time with each individual, but I think you would benefit in many ways by having clear tutorials.

I will be adding a lot more video tutorials this month and more workflow write ups.

I think the way to do this is scrape the target pages, then pass them to an ai model to list the songs and themes.

Is this what you did last time?

Last time I did this successfully, I scraped 100 URLs and the a.i. within SEO Content Machine assembled them into a massive (and I mean massive) list. They were list with one theme per line, with subcategories listed under primary categories. This is not something that I can make chatgpt do while chatting with it normally – to do it with chatgpt, I would need to first prompt it for the primary themes then tell it to list subthemes five or more times before coming up with a reasonably-sized list.

Do you remember what prompt you used to do this in SCM?

Normally for SCM, it will pass each url of content into the AI model and save each output into one article, so for 100 articles it would be 100 files.
