I purchased the software a while back and would like to get started using it. While I get conceptually what each area is for, it would be great to have a starting point of maybe start with keyword research or start with doing web crawlers or searching news. It’d be great just to have a little bit more context of why we would need each of the different tools.
My ultimate goal is to create dynamic blog posts that I can pass into n8n to publish on my HighLevel blog. I am good on the n8n to HL. It’s kind of just figuring out the software.
Ok, here is a walk around the different tools inside SCM.
These are your keytools:
Content Discovery & Research Tools:
Keyword Question - SCM version of the ‘Keyword Finder’. Instead of just related keywords it searches for keywords that appear as questions in Google search etc. There are normally nice low hanging fruit keywords that are long tail and less competitive. Why needed: Ensures your blog posts target keywords that people actually search for.
Search News Scraper - Scrapes Google News results for specific keywords, extracting article titles, bodies. Why needed: Provides current, trending content ideas and fresh source material for your blog posts.
Web Crawler - Systematically crawls websites to collect URLs and content. Why needed: Discovers large amounts of content sources from niche websites or competitor sites to use as inspiration or source material.
Content Collection Tools:
RSS Scraper - Pulls content from RSS feeds. Why needed: Automated collection of fresh content from blogs, news sites, and industry publications.
Image/Video Scrapers - Collect multimedia content. Why needed: Rich media makes blog posts more engaging and shareable.
Dynamic/Static Scrapers - Advanced web scraping tools. Why needed: Extract specific content from complex websites that require JavaScript or have anti-scraping measures.
Content Creation Tool:
Article Creator - The main tool inside SCM. Uses AI writing, content spinning, translation, and can insert various types of content (images, videos, news, RSS feeds, etc.). Why needed: Transforms your research into complete, SEO-optimized blog posts ready for publishing.
There are other popular tools also, but they are more specific to your needs, eg Google Maps scraper, Wayback scraper and Youtube sub scraper.
